The Civic Beautification Award for November was given to the main branch of First National Bank on North Parkerson for enhancing its building with a number of planters filled with a wide variety of plants. On hand to accept the award on behalf of the bank were, from left, Loretta Boudreaux and Shari Hanks. The plants are maintained by bank employees Jada Simon and Bonnie Miller.
On Tuesday, Crowley Garden Club recently presented its monthly awards for business and residential beautification.
