Dorothy Lee Trahan

Funeral services were held for Dorothy Lee Trahan, 88, on Monday, March 16, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley Chapel with Rev. Kerry Doucet officiating. Co-officiating was Rev. John E. Trahan Jr. and Rev. Amanda Parker.
Visitation in the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley Chapel was held on Sunday, March 15, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resumed on Monday at 8 a.m. until just prior to the chapel service time.
Interment followed the chapel service and was in the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou.
Mrs. Trahan passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, in Clanton, Alabama.
Mrs. Trahan is survived by her three sons, Rev. John E. Trahan Jr. (Dianne) of Calera, Alabama, William P. Trahan of Clanton, Alabama, and Robert J. Trahan of Chalmette; two granddaughters, Crystal Trahan of Calera, Alabama, and Rev. Amanda (Jonathan) Parker of Temple, Texas; one grandson, Zachary Trahan of Chalmette; one great-grandson, Pierce Parker of Temple, Texas; one sister-in-law, June Trahan of Brandon, Mississippi; one brother-in-law, Joseph Trahan of Crowley; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John E. Trahan Sr.; parents, Preston Spell and Ida Harrington Spell; two sisters, Ruby Spell and Olite Hanks; and one brother, D.V. Spell.
Pallbearers will be Crystal Trahan, Amanda Parker, Zachary Trahan, Byron Trahan, Ronald Spell, Jonathan Parker and Pierce Parker.
