Youth Summit largest to date

The eighth annual Acadia Parish Youth Summit will go down in the record books as the largest and most-attended to date.

On March 2, the Crowley High School Colorguard competed in a Winterguard competition at Dutchtown High School in Geismer, placing in the top ten in their category. This was their first competition and the first time competing. They will be competing again on March 16 then go to Championships on March 22-23. Members of the Crowley High team include, kneeling from left, Aaliyah Trahan, Lynia Thomas and Brionne Walters; standing from left, Beth Hanks, A’laina Williams, Jaila Brown, Reina Thomas, Jevon Davis, Aryanna Chester, Airiss Senegal, Saryiah Patton and Lacy White.
