Henry seeking District 3 seat on Police Jury

Chance Henry has announced his candidacy for Acadia Parish Police Juror, District 3, for the upcoming Oct. 12, election. He is a registered Republican.
Henry is a graduate of Midland High School and a lifelong resident of District 3. He owns Keith Henry Insurance Agency in Mermentau and co-owns Bon Chance Crawfish Catering. He has been married to Taylor Trahan Henry for three years and they have one son, John Keith.
Henry’s involvement across Acadia Parish is strong. He is currently serving as the vice chairman for the Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and vice president of the Istre Cemetery Board of Directors. He is a member of the Acadia Parish Planning Commission, the Crowley Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus Council 4791 and a founding member of Cadien Toujours.
As someone who owns a business, lives, and, most importantly, raises a family in Acadia Parish, Henry understands the importance of local government. It is his belief that the police jury, as a whole, has an opportunity to connect with elected officials on local, regional and state levels to enact change.
“The police jury is not just roads and ditches,” said Henry. “It is the voice of the parish for public facilities, infrastructure, drainage, development and so much more.”
Henry is committed to continue serving District 3 and knows that his voice as your police juror will mean progress for Acadia Parish. For more information and campaign updates, visit the Chance Henry for Acadia Parish Police Juror, District 3 Facebook page.
