Shirley P. Sarver

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, at 11 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Shirley P. Sarver, 82, who passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 3:38 p.m. at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley.
Brother Randy Trahan, from Northside Assembly of God Church, will be officiating for the services.
Burial will be held in Acadia Resthaven Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, April 18, at 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the funeral home chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6:30 in the evening. Visitation will resume on Thursday, April 19, at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include her son, Christopher and wife Leslie Sarver of Crowley; one granddaughter, Katie Lynn Sarver also of Crowley; honorary sons, Warren Garrie and Darrell Garrie, both of Crowley; one sister, Patricia “Pat” and husband Andrew Gauthreaux of Crowley; one brother, A.J. Pizzolatto of Crowley; numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Sarver was preceded in death by her husband, of 60 years, Marvin Ray Sarver; one infant granddaughter, Natalie Jo Sarver; her father, Anthony “Tony” Pizzolatto; her mother and step-father, Ruth F. and Oble Esclovon; one sister, Lena P. Dronet; and one brother, Gerard Esclovon.
Ms. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
The family would like to thank Southwind Nursing and Rehab Center, Lamm Hospice and Dr. Karrie Kilgore for all their loving care.
