Lorena Richard Garcia

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Lorena Richard Garcia, 76, who passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Southwind Nursing and Rehab Center in Crowley.
Lorena was born on Jan. 20, 1942, in Crowley.
She is survived by one daughter, Candace LeJeune; one brother, Jessie Richard; and two sisters, Betty Simon and Mary Hebert; eight grandchildren, Robbie Fontenot, Columbus Fontenot, Annie Rabalais, Chad Hermis, Beth Hermis, Blaze Garcia, Sarah Masters and Tyler Calderone; along with numerous great and great-great grandchildren and many friends.
Lorena was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Rena Richard; two sons, Robert Fontenot and Johnny Fontenot; two daughters, Angie Garcia and Alicia Garcia; and one grandson, Brandon Hermis.
Lorena now joins her children in His heavenly home. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to recognize and thank the staff at Southwind Nursing and Rehab Center for the care given to Lorena. Your patience did not go unnoticed. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Shelly, the hospice nurse, who cared for her in her final days.

Russel Credeur

RAYNE - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Russel J. Credeur, 71, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, with Rev. Kevin Bordelon as celebrant.
Visitation was held in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Saturday, March 3, from 9 a.m. until just prior to the service time.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary was held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment followed the church service and was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2 in Rayne.
Mr. Credeur passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Mr. Credeur is survived by his siblings, Mary Gilbert and husband Willard of Rayne, Clinton Credeur of Carencro and Marnell Credeur of Rayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Credeur and Helena Comeaux Credeur.
Pallbearers were Glenn Gilbert, Shawn Gilbert, Cody Richard, Kyle Credeur, Tray Credeur and Tommy Adams.

Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at a 1:30 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Joseph Trahan, Jr., 86, who died Thursday March 22, 2018 at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne LA.

Interment will be in the Leger Cemetery in Rayne, LA.

Rev. Kevin Bordelon, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Survivors include wife, Joyce Sonnier Mire Trahan of Rayne, three daughters, Susan Trahan Dupuis and husband Burton of Rayne, Peggy Trahan Alleman of Breaux Bridge, Karen Trahan of Rayne, step daughter, Nora Mire Dool and husband Lee of Conroe, TX, two sons, Kenneth Trahan and wife Margie of Franklin, John Douglas Trahan of Rayne, special family pet Candy, step son, Lawrence Mire and wife Penny of Denver, CO, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, brother, George B. Trahan and wife Linda of Indian Bayou.

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Trahan, father, Joseph Trahan, Sr., mother, Adonnadieux Lavergne Trahan.

Pallbearers will be Burton Dupuis, Jr., Kurt Dupuis, Steven Dupuis, Eric Hyfield, Jason Pitre and Dexter Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be George Trahan, Kenneth Trahan, John Douglas, Larry Mire and Byrton Dupuis, Sr.

A Rosary will be prayed Friday, March 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA on Friday March 23, 2018 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
