Milton “Cuz” Arceneaux

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel - Scott for Milton Joseph Arceneaux, 85, who passed away on Feb. 17, 2018, at his residence.
Reverend Michael Guidry will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 Mausoleum in Rayne.
Milton was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Rayne.
Milton enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Mr. Arceneaux, a resident of Rayne, was the son of the late Laurence Arceneaux and the former Katie Laughlin.
He is survived by three daughters, Katie Williams, Christine Knight and husband Troy and Marcell Pontiff and husband Mike; seven grandchildren, Andrea, Lydia, Brandon, Joseph, Justin, Cody and Danielle; 10 great-grandchildren, Aaden, Heavan, Zoe, Ella, Mason, Keelyn, Grayson, Rylan, Cain and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Andrea Arceneaux
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Justin Knight, Cody Knight, Brandon Williams, Joseph Williams, Aaden Williams and Ben Pontiff.

Lily Marin Carlson

Live, Love, Laugh were the words that our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother lived by. It is with great sadness that our Mother Lily left us to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 21 at Immaculate Conception Church in Morse for Lily Marin Carlson, 95, who died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Fr. Clint Trahan, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the Funeral Mass.
Visitation hours will be observed at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 20 with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. There will be no visitation the day of the funeral.
Interment services will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia at 2 p.m., Feb. 21.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine and husband Louis Cramer of Roberts Cove, and Janet and husband Patrick McFarlain of Crowley; four sons, David and wife Marlene of Rayne, Allen and wife Priscilla of Morse, Richard and wife Susan of Lake Charles, Thomas and wife Leticia of Morse; and daughter-in-law Nadine, wife of Keith, of Lafayette. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 51 great- grandchildren and one great-granddaughter on the way; and her sister-in-law, Helen Marin of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Martin Carlson; one son Keith Carlson and his daughter Gretchen; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Marin Sr.; her sister Evelyn LaBauve and husband Leo; and her brother Rufus Marin Jr.
Mrs. Carlson was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Morse, the Ladies Altar Society, the Rosary Group, and both the Acadia Parish and State Association of Retired Teachers and a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Pallbearers will be Marty Cramer, Stephen Carlson, Michael Carlson, Brandon Carlson, Ryan McFarlain and Heath Carlson.
Honorary pallbearers are Al and Eddie Cramer, Brent and Stuart Carlson, Jeffrey Carlson, Drew McFarlain and Tyler Carlson.
Gift bearers will be Mrs. Carlson’s granddaughters; Ashley LeJeune, Jennifer Carlson, Tara Patin, Maggie Futch, Ann Marie and Sara Carlson and Amber Touchet.
Donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse, or the charity of your choice.
The family wishes to thank Crystal Badeaux, Angela Breaux, Kayla Schexnider, Shawntella Touchet, Jennifer Hanks and Jenna Meyers; her doctors, Dr. M.N. Katira and Dr. Nancy Briley-Walker and Hospice Compassus. A special thank you to her granddaughter Tara Patin for her excellent care of our beloved mother, Lily.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.

Marjorie Beard Weekley

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Marjorie Beard Weekley, 81, who passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at 5:25 p.m. at her home in Rayne.
Br. Kevin Colson will be officiating for the services.
Burial will be in the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Branch.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. in the funeral home chapel in Rayne. Visitation will resume on Monday, at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include, two daughters, Debbie and husband Bobby Stokley of Lafayette, and Monica and husband, Michael Powers of Lakeland, Tennessee; three sons, Randall and wife Gayle Thibodeaux of Rayne, Lonnie and wife Melanie Thibodeaux of Glen Rose, Texas, and Stacey and wife Annette Thibodeaux of Rayne; one brother, John and wife Jeanette Beard of Rayne; 10 grandchildren, Vance Stokley, Garrett and Gavin Powers, Erin and husband Cade Fontenot, Amanda and husband Stephen Ohlenforst, Beth Thibodeaux, Logan and wife,Stephani Thibodeaux, Lanie and husband Brandon Veazey, Ivy and Ava Thibodeaux; three great-grandchildren, Alex and Julie Fontenot, Silouan Veazey.
Ms. Weekley was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Thibodeaux; and her parents, Ivy and Lillie R. Beard.
