Shelia Ann Vienne Breaux

RAYNE - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA for Shelia Ann Vienne Breaux, 70, who died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her residence in Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA.

Rev. Christopher Cambre, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Readers will be Tabitha Vienne and Danielle Ronkartz. Gift bearers will be her granddaughter, Rylee Credeur and her siblings, Rhena Cramer, Keith Vienne, and Dean Vienne. Altar servers will Peyton Menard and Parker Menard.

Survivors include husband, Bradley Breaux, Jr. of Rayne, two daughters, Tobi Breaux Milligan and spouse Scott Milligan, Joni Lyn Mary Breaux of Rayne, five grandchildren, Savannah Milligan, Abigail Milligan, Mataya Credeur, Jullian Credeur, Rylee Credeur, sister, Rhena Vienne Cramer and spouse Anthony Cramer of Roberts Cove, two brothers, Keith Vienne and spouse Mona Breaux Vienne of Rayne, Dean Vienne and spouse Kathy Savoie Vienne of Lafayette, two brothers in law, Gerard "Jerry" Arceneaux of Rayne, Alan Breaux and spouse Shelly Fontenot Breaux of Mire, special friend, Kathy Arceneaux Fruge, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Vienne and Camilla Haure Vienne, two sisters, a very special angel Susan Vienne, Franciscka "Frankie" Vienne Arceneaux, newphew Benjamin "Benji" Todd Vienne.

Pallbearers will be Jullian Credeur, Bradley Breaux, Mark Arceneaux, Tony Cramer, Kasey Vienne, and Logan Lattood.. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Vienne, Dean Vienne, Alan Breaux, and Zachary Miller.

A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 7:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm until Wednesday August 29, 2018 until 12:30 pm.

Larry Joseph Guidry

RAYNE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Major Larry Joseph Guidry, USAF (Retired), age 83, will be celebrated on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rayne. Father Kevin Bordelon, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will serve as celebrant. Interment will military honors provided by American Legion Post 77, Acadiana Veterans Honor Guard, and Keesler Air Force Base Honor Guard will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery No. 2, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM in Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM in the funeral home.

Mr. Guidry passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 in a Lafayette hospital.

A native of Rayne, LA, Mr. Guidry was a graduate of Rayne High School. He served for three years in the U.S. Army, after which he returned to Louisiana to complete his Bachelor of Arts Degree at University of Southwestern Louisiana. Mr. Guidry then joined the U.S. Air Force, retiring after twenty-three years at the rank of Major. He served in Vietnam, as well as various bases throughout the United States. While in the Air Force, Mr. Guidry earned his Master of Arts Degree from Webster University.

Following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Guidry returned to Rayne, where he worked for many years as a teacher. He retired from teaching at St. Pious X Catholic School in Lafayette, and he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mr. Guidry spent his retirement years tirelessly working to improve the plight of veterans. He was an active member of American Legion Post 77, and he chaired the committee to construct the Veterans Memorial Park in Rayne. Mr. Guidry's letters regarding veterans' issues could be found in local and area papers on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day, and he often wrote to his elected officials regarding veterans' issues.

Survivors include his sons, Troy Christopher Guidry of Rayne, and Mark Benedict Guidry and wife, Barbara of Lafayette; daughter, Kimberly Ann Guidry and husband, Mark Stephens of San Antonio, TX; brother, Eugene Guidry and wife, Letrice of Rayne; grandchildren, Joshua Todd Guidry and wife, Summer of Dry Prong, Brendon Michael Ferry and spouse, Alton Fowler of San Antonio, and Zachary David Ferry of Ft. Lewis, WA; and great-grandchild, Elliott Camille Guidry of Dry Prong.

Preceding Mr. Guidry in death were his parents, Armond Guidry and Lena Caillouet Guidry.

Richard D. Foreman

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Richard D. Foreman, 74, who passed away at his home in Estherwood surrounded by family on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at 6:25 a.m.
Rev. Don Popp will be officiating for the services.
Burial will be held in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 9:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of services.
A true Cowboy at heart, he could always be found in his chair watching cowboy stories or tending to his horses. He was always up for a weekend camping trip or heading to Canton to hit the flea markets for his “treasures,” although his greatest treasure was his family.
Nothing compared to spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cheryl Fair Foreman; children, Monica (Tim) Domingue of Crowley, Troy (Paula) Foreman of Crowley, Michelle (Kevin) Meche of Welsh, Kiisha (Greg) Duhon of Estherwood and Kristy (David) Fusilier of Rayne; his siblings AD (Abbie) Foreman and Shirley (Harold) Menard; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his first wife of 23 years, Hazel Stutes Foreman; his parents, Mamie (Leleux) and Arthur David Foreman Sr.; and one grandson, Craig Duhon.
Pallbearers include Cody Foreman, Casey Foreman, Andrew Domingue, Ryan Domingue, Cole Duhon and David Fusilier.
Honorary pallbearers include Kevin Meche, Craig Duhon, Greg Duhon and Tim Domingue.
The family wishes to send a special thanks to Dr. Aertker and his staff, Dr. Nancy Walker, and Compassus for going above and beyond with providing care.
