Harvey Ray Mouton

Ridge - A Mass of Christian Burial for Harvey Ray Mouton, 80, of Ridge, was celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 11 a.m. in St. Basil Catholic Church, Judice.
Father Rex Broussard, Pastor of St. Basil Catholic Church, served as celebrant. Entombment followed in St. Basil Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Judice.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 23, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in St. Basil Catholic Church, with a rosary recited at 10 a.m.
Mr. Mouton passed away on Wednesday, June 20, at his Ridge home.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Shelva Dean Lege Mouton of Ridge; sons, David Blair Mouton of Houston, Texas, Joseph Ray Mouton and wife Alison of Youngsville, and Michael Jude Mouton and wife Jade of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Denise Mouton Lodahl and husband Kevin of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Gerelda Mouton Champagne of Lafayette; brother, Patrick Mouton and wife Pam of New Orleans; grandchildren, Hunter Mouton, Brittney Mouton, Jordan Moffitt, William Mouton, Zoe Mouton, Riley Lodahl, Cole Lodahl, Mason Mouton and Tristan Mouton; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Preceding Mr. Mouton in death were his parents, Sidney and Elzia Hanks Mouton; and sister, Mildred Mouton Plattsmier.
Serving as pallbearers were Hunter Mouton, Riley Lodahl, William Mouton, Scott Bass, Jason Hanks and Kevin Lodahl.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Acadiana for the compassionate care given to Mr. Mouton.

Frannie Joseph Dupuis

RAYNE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Frannie Joseph Dupuis, 75, of Rayne, will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rayne. Father Christopher Cambre, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will serve as celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery No. 2 Mausoleum, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM, in Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM in the funeral home.

Mr. Dupuis passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in The Ellington, Rayne.

A lifelong resident of Rayne, Mr. Dupuis was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, having served on the aircraft carrier USS Randolph, as well as the USS Forrestal. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 77 in Rayne.

Mr. Dupuis was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked for many years as a truck driver.

Survivors include his son, Carl Wayne Dupuis and companion, Diane of Rayne; daughter, Bridget Dupuis Huval and husband, Todd of Rayne; grandchildren, Brittany Guidry and Brandon Guidry, both of Rayne; brothers, Elgie Dupuis and wife, Mary of Rayne, and Burton Dupuis and wife, Susan of Rayne; and a great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Mr. Dupuis in death were his wife, Katherine Lognion Dupuis; parents, Ceasar and Minnie Bass Dupuis; brothers, Oscar Dupuis and Milton Dupuis; and sister, Delores Fruge.

Serving as pallbearers are Carl Dupuis, Todd Huval, Brandon Guidry, Burton Dupuis, Burton Dupuis, Jr., and Kurt Dupuis.

Henry Lawrence Aucoin Jr.

Henry Lawrence Aucoin Jr., 40, a native of Crowley and resident of New Orleans, succumbed to injuries received as the result of an automobile accident on Tuesday, June 12.
Henry was born on June 3, 1978, to the union of Henry Aucoin Sr. and Leecy Ford Houston, raised by W.C. Houston Jr.
Henry leaves to mourn his loving memories, his wife Brithney Aucoin of New Orleans; one daughter, Maliyah of New Orleans; one son Kollin of Baker; mother Leecy and stepfather W.C. (Al) Houston of Crowley; three sisters, Hope (Mario) Mills of Baton Rouge, Tenella (Albert) Solomon of Crowley and Kimberly Houston of Lake Charles; two brothers, Dwayne (Alonda) Houston and Terrell Houston of Lafayette; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Aucoin Sr.; maternal grandparents, Willie and Melouise Ford; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Lady Mae Aucoin; uncles Wayne and Jeffery Ford, Glenn, Gregory and Samuel Aucion Jr., Lucius Dugar; and aunt, Marie Dugar.
Arrangements are entrusted to and services will be held at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Avenue, New Orleans, on Saturday June 23.
Viewing begins at noon and services begin at 1 p.m.
