Victoria Comeaux Credeur
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, for Victoria Comeaux Credeur, 61, who died Dec. 26, 2017, in Rayne.
Fr. Edward Duhon, Priest in Residence of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will be officiating for the service.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. Deacon Dan Didier will recite a rosary at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lee Credeur Sr. of Rayne; one daughter, Mandy Gaye Signorelli of Rayne; her mother, Estelle G. Comeaux of Crowley; two sisters, Arlene Spell and husband Douglas of Rayne, and Brenda Venable and husband William of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Dean Comeaux and wife Lauri of Youngsville; two step-daughters, Katie Guidry of Crowley, and Kristie Morgan of Maxie; one step-son, Kenneth L. Credeur Jr. of Erath; and nine step-grandchildren.
Mrs. Credeur is preceded in death by her father, Louis Belton Comeaux.
Pallbearers will be Mandy Signorelli, Dustin Spell, Camryn Spell, Derek Comeaux, Brian Venable, Tyler Credeur.
Honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Credeur.

Rogers Rose Robinson
Rogers Rose Robinson was born in Crowley, Louisiana, on Sept. 19, 1934, to the late Earl Robinson Sr. and Olivia Spencer Robinson.
On Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, while resting at home with family by his side, God called Rogers home to his eternal rest.
The Wake will be Friday, Dec. 29, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with opportunities for those interested to address the family at one time. The Homegoing Service will be Saturday, Dec. 30, beginning at 11 a.m. Both services will be at Bethel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church located at 320 W. Hutchinson Ave., Crowley, Reverend George Chretian, pastor.
Rogers leaves to honor his memory, his wife; Edna Harmon Robinson of Crowley; five sons; Joseph Clarence Robinson of Rogers, Arkansas, Mark Anthony Robinson Sr. of Houston, Texas, Roger Glenn (Renee) Robinson of Crowley, Keith Ray (Winnifred) Robinson of Shreveport, and Ralph (Cherise) Robinson of Crowley; eight daughters; Nakia (Brian) Christian of Lafayette, Ollie (Dennis) Lott of San Antonio, Texas, Norma (Sherman Jr.) Robinson-Wilson of San Antonio, Texas, Lydwina Gail (Danny) Holliman of Killeen, Texas, Alicia Dawn (Reginald) Coles of Shreveport, Carlisa Lynn (Wilson) Minix of Dallas, Texas, Roslyn (David) Robinson-Harper of Atlanta, Georgia, and Catherine Robinson Segura of Tallahassee, Florida. To each of them were born 95 grandchildren, 101 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He also leaves to honor his memory his two brothers, Earl Robinson Sr. of Lake Charles, and James Rolen Robinson of Inglewood, California; two sisters; Helen Green and Betty Robinson, both of Houston, Texas; one god-daughter, Dora Gail Johnson of Crowley, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Robinson Sr. and Olivia Spencer Robinson; one daughter, Virginia Robinson; one son, Byron Gerard Robinson; one brother, Donald Lee Robinson, Sr.; and three sisters, Sarah Robinson Handy, Ollie Blanch Guidry and Susie Rose Stewart; as well as, numerous other relatives.
Thelma Cormier Fontenot
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Thelma Cormier Fontenot Jones, 86, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at 4 p.m. surrounded by her loving family.
Fr. Edward Duhon, Priest in Residence of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family request visitation Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 7 p.m. by Deacon Dan Didier.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Sylvian Jones of Crowley; two daughters, Denise F. Greene and husband Allen, and Kim F. Leger and husband Macky, all of Crowley; three sons, Douglas Fontenot of Atlanta, Georgia, Jeff H. Fontenot and wife Marisa of Branch, Karl M. Fontenot and wife Maureen of Crowley; two step-daughters, Sylvia J. Foreman and husband Chris, and Tammy J. Schexnaider and husband Vinton, all of Crowley; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleopha and Theoza Trahan Cormier; her first husband, Jasper H. Fontenot; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Janet Habetz Fontenot; great-granddaughter, Sue Ellen Roberts; two sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Allen “Buddy” Greene, Eric Roberts, J.P. Fontenot, Anders Fontenot, Ross Dempsey and Joseph “Macky” Leger.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Breaux, Allen Greene and Zachary Leger.

Alex K. Andrus
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, at First United Methodist Church in Crowley for Mr. Alex Keith Andrus, 28, who passed away on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, in Church Point.
Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
Rev. Lewis Morris will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Andrus leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Barbara Andrus Fontenot (Lester) of Crowley; his maternal grandmother, Octavia Andrus of Crowley; his girlfriend, Dyjunera Charles and step-son, Daylon Charles, both of Rayne; his sister, Alexis Bernard of Crowley; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mr. Andrus was preceded in death by his father, Timothy LeBlue; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Verna LeBlue; maternal grandfather, Johnny Andrus Sr.; and his godmother, Sandra Edwards.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 30, from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Evelyn Mary Richard
It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Evelyn Mary Richard announces her passing from this life on Dec. 24, 2017, at the age of 85.
Evelyn was born in Estherwood to Edwin Joseph Smith and Malaine Meche Smith on May 9, 1932.
She was a cashier at National Food Store. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She was kind and gentle person, who will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Judy (Ron) Wilson of Crowley; grandson, Christopher Richard; granddaughter, Brittney Richard; sisters, Alice Lavergne of Texas City, Texas, and Mary Ann (Russell) Beard of Crowley.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Joseph Smith; mother, Malaine M. Beard; step-father, William Beard; husband, Advie Richard; and brother, Adam Smith.
Funeral services for Evelyn Mary Richard, of Crowley, will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.
A gathering of family and friends began at Matthews & Son on Tuesday, Dec. 26, from noon until time of her funeral service on Wednesday. A rosary was recited on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Evelyn will be laid to rest in Abshire Cemetery.
