Kelley LaFleur

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, for Kelley LaFleur, 82, who died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, in Crowley.
Fr. Edward Duhon, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services with Deacon Tim Ledet assisting.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be led by Deacon Ledet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. LaFleur was a member of the United States Army. He worked in the oil and gas industry during his career and retired for Exxon.
Participating for the services will be Toni Delapasse and Kevin Roberts as readers; Emma, Catherine, and Madeline Roberts as gift bearers; and Philip Roberts as an altar server.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne Achee LaFleur of Crowley; one daughter, Michelle LaFleur Roberts and husband, Kevin of Georgetown, Texas; two sons, Mark Lane LaFleur and wife Kimberly of Madison, Mississippi, and Rhett David LaFleur and wife Michelle of Katy, Texas; two brothers, Danny LaFleur of Austin, Texas, and Jerry LaFleur of Annapolis, Maryland; and 10 grandchildren.
Mr. LaFleur is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Addelene Kelley LaFleur; and one brother, Jim LaFleur.
Pallbearers will be Danny LaFleur, Jerry LaFleur, Matthew LaFleur, Lane LaFleur, Rhett LaFleur, and Kevin Roberts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kelley Lane LaFleur and Kyle LaFleur (grandsons), Charles Delapasse, Wayne Achee, Jim Zaunbrecher, and Jack Smith.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to Lamm Family Care Hospice: 1708 N. Parkerson Ave., Ste. 6, Crowley, LA 70526

LeBeouf, Henderson set to wed Jan. 20

Kelli and Jeffery LeBeouf of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Morgan Kristine LeBeouf of Crowley, to Ty Christian Henderson of Iota.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ethel and Austin “Tony” Brown of Iota and the late Mildred and Wilson Cormier of Crowley.
Morgan graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2012 before attending Louisiana State University at Eunice, where she earned an associate’s degree in business in 2015. She is presently employed at the law firm of Edwards, Stefanski & Zaunbrecher.
The groom-elect is the son of Carol and Darrin Henderson of Iota. His maternal grandparents are Dorlis Pippin and Russell LeBlanc and the late Harvey Douglas Pippin, all of Crowley, and his paternal grandparents are Audrey and Joseph Ronald Henderson Sr. of Iota.
Ty is a 2012 graduate of Iota High School and is currently employed at Jeff Davis Electric Co-p, Inc.
The couple will be wed on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Fr. Mikel Polson will officiate the 6 p.m. nuptials.

Lillian Lois Hanks “BB” Morgan

Funeral services for Lillian Lois Hanks “BB” Morgan, 88, of Crowley were held on Saturday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. in Northside Assembly of God in Crowley. Reverend Loyd Singley and Reverend Randy Trahan officiated.
Interment followed in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Friday, Dec. 22, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, and continued on Saturday, Dec. 23 from 9 a.m. until service time in Northside Assembly of God.
Mrs. Morgan passed away on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, surrounded by her family in a Crowley health care facility.
Mrs. Morgan lived her whole life in the Crowley area. She retired from AT&T after 41 years of faithful service.
A longtime member of Northside Assembly of God, Mrs. Morgan loved Our Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart, soul, mind, and strength. She never passed up an opportunity to share the Good News of salvation with anyone, and was doing so up to her very last days on earth.
Lovingly known as “BB”, Mrs. Morgan was a loving mother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel Morgan and wife Becky of Crowley, and Tim Morgan and wife Rachelle of Crowley; daughters, Belinda Guidry and husband Rob of Lafayette, and Gwen Stutes and husband Bill of League City, Texas; sister, Estelle Foreman and husband Herbert of Crowley; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hanks of Crowley, and Iva Hoffpauir of Lake Charles; brother-in-law, Gary Sarver of Franklinton; grandchildren, David Morgan and wife Kristy, Danielle Fontenot and husband Patrick, Aaron Morgan and wife Megan, Madeline Hand and husband Josh, and Benjamin Morgan and wife Mallory; great-grandchildren, Kayli Credeur, Brianna Morgan, Christian Morgan, Ansleigh Fontenot, Patrick Daniel Fontenot, and Urijah Morgan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding Mrs. Morgan in death were her husband of 59 years, Arnette Burton Morgan; parents, Elzy Hanks and Julia Stafford Hanks; brother, Richard Hanks; and sisters, Katherine Sarver and Florence Broussard.
Serving as pallbearers were Daniel Morgan, Tim Morgan, David Morgan, Aaron Morgan, Benjamin Morgan, and Josh Hand.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Encore Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and the staff of Lamm Family Care Hospice for the compassionate care given to Mrs. Morgan.
